Dr. Julianna Hom PT, DPT

Dr. Hom is a physical therapist with specialized interests in treating orthopedic and vestibular conditions, as well as performing arts physical therapy. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. After graduating, Dr. Hom pursued dance professionally as both a performer and educator. As a dancer, she performed within various venues throughout the Madison and Chicago areas, and internationally in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Following her professional dance career, Dr. Hom pursued her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University and studied with some to of the top clinicians and researchers in the physical therapy field.

Dr. Hom has advanced training in Maitland manual therapy and holds a prestigious certificate in vestibular rehabilitation from Duke University. This vestibular certification is the gold standard competency program for advanced vestibular diagnostics and treatment. Dr. Hom utilizes infrared video nystagmography to diagnose and treat vestibular conditions.

Dr. Hom is passionate about collaborating with patients to create a personalized and goal-oriented plan of care to maximize rehabilitation outcomes. Additionally, she values creating a warm and welcoming environment where rehabilitation can be a fun and enjoyable experience.

In her free time, Dr. Hom enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring New York City as much as possible, trying new restaurants, popping into dance class, and planning her next travel adventure!
