Dr. Mohamed OwiedaD. Mohamed Owieda received his Bachelor of science in physical therapy from Pharos University in Alexandria University and his Doctorate in physical therapy from Arcadia University. Dr. Owieda is an experienced sports and orthopedic physical therapist specializing in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, and performance optimization. He is a former professional basketball player with the Egyptian national team and competed in multiple international tournaments, giving him a unique dual perspective on injury recovery and athletic performance.

Dr. Owieda has worked extensively in musculoskeletal care, injury prevention, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. His expertise spans pre- and post-operative recovery (ACL reconstruction, labral repairs, rotator cuff surgeries), spinal conditions (disc herniations, radiculopathy, sciatica), and sports-related injuries (shoulder impingement, knee instability, Achilles tendinitis).

His clinical background is multidisciplinary, having served on medical teams for national squads and contributed to medical committees at elite sporting events, including the African, Arab, and World Cups. He has also been part of the Olympic Committee and Team USA House at the Paralympics, gaining first-hand experience in high-performance athlete care at the elite level.

Dr. Owieda earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Arcadia University and is currently pursuing an advanced degree in sports physical therapy in collaboration with the Olympic and Paralympic committees. His approach integrates cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques with a deep understanding of athlete biomechanics and sports science, ensuring optimal recovery and peak performance for his patients.
