Dr. Nathan SherwoodDr. Nathan Sherwood is a licensed physical therapist with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy. He graduated from Long Island University, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to that, in 2013 he received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Science at Long Island University.

Dr. Sherwood is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist, a prestigious certification offered by the American Physical Therapy Association. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and was a personal trainer for nearly a decade, prior to becoming a licensed clinician. During that time, he specialized in athletic performance and injury prevention. Nathan is passionate about manual therapy intervention and he is currently completing a certification in Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art.

Nathan also has extensive training in vestibular diagnostics and treatment. He is skilled at analyzing ocular movements with infrared nystagmography goggles in order to diagnose and treat vestibular conditions. He has worked extensively with patients with chronic pain, gait/balance, orthopedic, post-operative, sports-related, and vestibular conditions.

Outside of the clinic he enjoys his time with his wife and two children, playing music, cooking, and weightlifting.
