Efrat (Efi) Cohen comes to Equilibrium PT with over 15 years of experience as a physical therapist working with patients of various ages and diagnoses in New York hospitals, including NYU Langone Hospital for Joint Diseases and Hospital for Special Surgery. Efi earned her degree from Temple University and has completed several advanced post graduate certifications including a rare and coveted board certification in Pediatrics from the American Physical Therapy Association.  In addition to being a Board Certified Pediatrics Clinical Specialist (PCS), Efi is one of the few certified specialists in the city in the Schroth Method for scoliosis management. At Equilibrium we have a set a beautiful custom made Schroth Stall Bars to properly treat this population.  Efi has also completed advanced training and a certification in Neuro Developmental Treatment (C/NDT).  She is a skilled orthopedic manual therapist and is currently is working towards her certification from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).
