Lucie Young
Tai Chi & Qi Gong Instructor | | Info@lucieyoung.com
Lucie has taught Tai Chi and Qigong for over 15 years and has experienced first-hand the power of Tai Chi to aid healing. 15 years ago, suffering from fibromyalgia, she fell in love with Tai Chi’s gentle flowing movements and soon felt the swift return of her health. Students describe Lucie Young as a ‘gifted’ and ‘intuitive’ teacher, and ‘as graceful in character as in movement’.
In her 15 years experience teaching group classes and private classes, Lucie has seen repeated evidence of Yang style Tai Chi’s ability to reinvigorate the body by stimulating ‘Qi’ (life force) and improve energy, balance, circulation, sleep, mood, relaxation and overall good health.
Her specialties are teaching Tai Chi for self-defense and to those struggling with health issues – particularly balance, flexibility, energy, blood pressure, stress and anxiety issues. She also teaches Qi Gong (medicinal breath energy exercises).
“Tai Chi is a beautiful 10-minute exercise. Once you have learned the form, the great thing is, you can do it anywhere. You don’t need any special equipment, not even shoes.”
