Mukta Chauhan, PT, DPT, OCS
Mukta is a seasoned physical therapist with over ten years of experience in Manual Physical Therapy and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Mukta realized that to offer her patients a more holistic treatment, she would need to broaden her focus. She has spent the last few years deepening her expertise in Pelvic Health, receiving training in pelvic health physical therapy from the prestigious Herman and Wallace and Barral Institutes. Mukta also has experience in Vestibular Rehabilitation and received her certification from the American Institute of Balance (AIB).
She received her Bachelor in Physical Therapy in Delhi, India and moved to the US to further her post graduate-level education. Mukta’s advanced training in Functional Manual Therapy at the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) completely transformed and enhanced her patient care with a detailed understanding of the delicate interplay
between neurophysiology, biomechanics, neurofascial systems and their combined contribution in the overall well-being of a patient. It is precisely this awareness about the nature of these interactions that gives her a nuanced understanding of her patients.
Mukta lives the philosophy of ongoing improvement, and because she continuously augments her knowledge with training and continued education courses, she is always improving on the quality of care she offers to her patients. In the last five years, she has taken numerous courses from industry stalwarts in Orthopedics, Pelvic Health and Vestibular Rehab.
In her free time, you can always find Mukta outdoors. She is most happy when she is biking, running, and hiking.
