Nicola is a New York State licensed Physical Therapist. She completed her education in Canada, earning her degree in Physical Therapy from McMaster University. Prior to this, she completed her Masters of Science in Biology at the University of Ottawa and her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Queen's University.
Nicola is an orthopedic physical therapist, and has taken advanced courses in manual therapy, concussion management, pelvic health, pain science, and management of sport and dance injuries. She is dedicated to furthering her knowledge and clinical skills, and will be sitting for her board certification exam in Orthopedics to become an orthopedic specialist.
Nicola takes an active approach to rehabilitation, and loves helping her clients achieve their unique goals - whether it be getting back to their sport, playing their instrument, or walking around the block. She incorporates manual therapy techniques, individualized exercise prescriptions, and education into all of her treatment programs. She firmly believes that empowering her patients and giving them the tools they need to restore mobility and function is the key to successful successful recovery.
When she is not at the clinic, Nicola enjoys dancing, yoga, and outdoor activities of all sorts. She is very excited to be in New York City, and loves exploring the parks, restaurants, and culture!
